You know what time it is. Using our 16oz Double-Wall Glassware, Nick Hogan, a friend and bartender at Oddbirds, created a refreshing, vibrant drink he calls "The Yellow Loon". Check out his recipe below!
We're coming up on a year in our new studio and wanted to share a tour of our space! This is our primary facility where we do all design, photography, and product prototyping. We also produce our soft goods here and do some production/finishing work.
Last week we debuted new furniture and lighting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair during NY Design Week. Our new designs include stools, coffee tables, planters, plant stands, and lighting.
Last week we teamed up with one of our favorite bartenders, Nick Hogan, at a favorite local spot, Oddbirds. For the YIELD crew, it's our go-to spot for after work drinks. Using our new double-wall glassware, we shot a series of cocktails and will be sharing those recipes here in the coming weeks. Check out our first cocktail recipe below!
Our friends at the Kookaburra recently opened their newest coffee shop / roastery location just a short distance from our YIELD studio. This morning we caught up with manager and barista Kevin McNeal to drink some coffee and shoot some photos using our double-wall glassware. Our smaller 6oz glass was sized to work within the traditional 5-6oz range of regulation cappuccinos. Prepared right, it's just enough!
Today marks one week since we opened our new Obscura Shop here in St. Augustine. While there's a lot of crossover between what we do at YIELD and what goes into running a retail store, there's plenty that's new for us. We've enjoyed having an opportunity for more face-to-face interactions and direct engagement.
